The City is also served by 5 MetroLink stations, and is located within 20 minutes of both St. Louis Downtown Airport and St. Louis Lambert International Airport; - access to and from East St. Louis rivals cities may times its size. Our 27 thousand residents are served by the East St. Louis School District # 189, which features the brand new Mason Clark Middle school, Lincoln Middle school, 6 elementary schools and East St. Louis Senior High, home to the 2 time football national champion Flyers.
